Shouldn’t a person be able to eat where they want? They didn’t build that Chilis for him, so someone must eat there.
It could be he is in town with his family, and just wants a convenient place to stop in for a bite to eat. Just because he is in NYC does not mean that he is there to steep himself in the local cuisine.
Some people (a lot of people) come to NYC on business and just want to get in and out with a minimum of fuss and expense. There are people out there who don't give a hoot about the NYC foodie scene. Really...
