Sorry, but I’m with the left here. There is ABSOLUTELY NO REASON to eat at a national chain joint in New York City.

I love the Pence pick, but the guy is TOTALLY CLUELESS if he needs to go to a ‘safe place’ to eat, when in that city.

That’s because, well, EVERYBODY knows where to go in NYC! Except for the millions of us who will only set foot there, reluctantly, on business. If at all.

I’d have eaten at McD’s, but I guess I’m both clueless and CHEAP.

Shouldn’t a person be able to eat where they want? They didn’t build that Chilis for him, so someone must eat there.

It could be he is in town with his family, and just wants a convenient place to stop in for a bite to eat. Just because he is in NYC does not mean that he is there to steep himself in the local cuisine.

Some people (a lot of people) come to NYC on business and just want to get in and out with a minimum of fuss and expense. There are people out there who don't give a hoot about the NYC foodie scene. Really...
