CLEVELAND, Ohio — A federal judge on Thursday scrapped the city of Cleveland's plans for a heightened-security zone that would have encompassed most of downtown during the Republican National Convention, saying that the restrictions are burdensome to people who want to express their free-speech rights.
-Instead of suspending constitutional carry, why don't they reinstate the safe zone? It would have kept everyone's constitutional rights in tact (Unless suspending concealed carry was the goal to begin with).

I wouldn't put much into this story in light of more recent news out of Cleveland regarding their being ready to handle 1,000 protesters a day going through their system.
He is not a fool, in the short term, he is malicious and wants chaos.

I’m going to be at the convention as a volunteer. I have a CCW, however I can’t bring my firearm into the Q because the Secret Service banned firearm possession in the areas open exclusively to credentialed attendees of the convention.

It doesn’t matter who brought the suit, what matters is it is now being used to attempt to suspend the constitution. Why do they want to suspend gun rights? Why not reinstate the safe zone and protect everyone (including the Constitution)?
