Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich may not have been Donald Trump's choice as a running mate, but he said Sunday that he's not disappointed--and that he'd still be happy to serve in Trump's administration.
"I would certainly serve with the president, preferably in a position that he and I would work out," Gingrich said on CBS' "Face the Nation..."
"I think Pence is a great choice," Gingrich said...
Gingrich also explained why he recently referred to Trump as a "pirate..." "This is a guy who is going to be different -- if you want to break up the corrupt bureaucratic, incestuous system of Washington, you had better have somebody who has a very strong personality and who's very willing to get in fights," he said. "You're not going to get some nice pleasant corporate bureaucrat to come to this city and dramatically change it..."

{Make Gingrich} Head of Janitorial Staff would be a good role. No doubt. Based on your own comment above, it wouldn't take much to overwhelm you intellectually.☺

Did not think I needed an /s but apparently I did. Can you intellectually refute any of these Newt Gingrich facts or just insult like a Democrat?
Back in the Clinton impeachment Judiciary Committee hearings Newt Gingrich was stonewalling Filegate, Travelgate, Chinagate and the Broaddrick incident so the Committee couldnt bring it up. He forced them to concentrate on Monicagate.
Why? Many of us on FR faxed his office demanding action to no avail. At the time Larry Flynt also announced that his private investigators had investigated Congressmen having affairs and would release the information should Clinton be ejected by impeachment.
Gingrich never allowed the important charges to be heard and resigned as it came out that he was having an affair with one of his staff. Livingston (the next Speaker) also resigned due to multiple affairs.
If someone cant be trusted with their marriage vows or employment rules and possibly is susceptible to blackmail I certainly dont trust that politician.
I understand that Trump also has broken those vows but hes what we got and Im #neverhillary. However, we wouldnt have Hillary now if Gingrich had not stonewalled the impeachment.
If Newt had been picked as Vice President it would have sunk Trumps campaign. Gingrich is that bad. If he's named to a post, I hope it doesn't require security clearance.

OK, I guess it’s hard for you to understand my comments because your replies don’t seem to have anything to do with them. I apologize for not being clear enough. Have a great day, though.

Head of Janitorial Staff would be a good role. I have no problem understanding your elementary school type comments. You nor your comments are not complex or intellectually impressive.☺

How about Department of Departments (DOD.) For some reason, that reminded me of my favorite line from the movie 1776:
A committee formed to think, perhaps to do...
but in any case, to gather, to meet, to confer, to talk...
and perhaps even to resolve that each rifle regiment...
be allowed at least one drum and one fife attached to each company...
designated as the Drum and Fife Committee.

OK, help me to understand you, then, my FRiend.
If I believe Newt Gingrich to be only deserving of a janitorial job in the Trump Administration due to bad political behavior during his time as Speaker, how does that equate to me not voting for Trump? Especially since I said I'm #neverhillary which means I will vote for Trump?
Thanks.

You’re a big Trump guy over Hillary? But then state Gingrich is only suited “Head of Janitorial Staff”? Uh huh.
So who is your perfect person for Chief of Staff? And have you considered requesting Trump pick you as an expert senior presidential advisor?

See, I knew I was just not being clear, thanks. I explained the reasons I have about Gingrich but I understand if you disagree.
Well, I didn't have a pick for Chief of Staff in mind but if I had to just think up one on the spot I would pick Duncan Hunter Jr.
Obviously I'd have to improve my communication skills for me to do the job!

Send your request to Trump to make Hunter Chief of Staff. And tell him what ya told me, that Gingrich is only suited for “Janitorial Chief of Staff”.
Good luck!
