Having lost the presidential primary in dramatic fashion against Donald Trump, the man originally considered a frontrunner for the GOP candidacy, Jeb Bush, laid out his "vision" to reclaim the Republican Party from Donald Trump’s "nativist rhetoric." Picking the Washington Post as his chosen op-ed venue, Bush said that Trump does not represent the future of the GOP or what it stands for.

“Frontrunner”, my a$$. Only in the minds of the elites and the media.

He needs to quit blaming Trump, and listen to what the voters said. He’s all about open borders. He’s low energy. He abandoned Terry Schiavo.

“Jeb Bush Lays Out His “Vision” (in the WaPo) To Reclaim The Republican Party From Donald Trump”

About as relevant as a Canadian “vision” of “reclaiming” the U.S. for the crown: Jeb, that ship has sailed and it ain’t never coming back.

Well, the Bush family supports him. That’s enough for me to say I don’t.

Jeb. Your family took out (and I use the term not that generously, Jebra) two presidents and had your filthy, thieving hands in at least 20 other years of presidencies. You are the dumbest rock in the crime family and it’s time for you to be done here. Go to Saudi Arabia where maybe people in a treeless desert still have respect for bushes.

Jeb’s trying hard to get the “vision thing.” Like father, like son.

Everyone knows he married into a Mexican family and speaks Spanish at home. Not as many know he was a banker in Latin America for a number of years.

He arranged his life to capitalize politically upon the coming changes, and is livid that somebody's upsetting his plans so carefully laid long ago.

I can just see Jebbie standing before his daddy and big brother stomping his feet while declaring “You promised Daddy.....it was my turn. You said I could be president next!”

The future of the GOP?

I think we’ve had enough advice from the Bush family.

Time to move on.

All the liberal talking point cliches from Jeb.

If I wanted them in a candidate, I would vote Democrat.

Jeb thinks we’re stupid. That’s why the GOP in his opinion, must ape the zeitgeist.

Not William F. Buckley’s definition of conservatism.

He’s such an unbelievable putz. He wants to “reclaim” the party that just overwhelmingly rejected him. Good heavens Yeb! it was so brutal that your $150 million was the absolute joke of the campaign. It’s not YOUR party to reclaim, Yeb!

You have been decisively, brutally kicked to the curb forever. Get over it.

Yup, he thought he could ride a wave of “Hispanic” takeover of US politics, and Trump flipped over the Yeb! taco stand.

“nativist” = the liberal smear word used against patriotic Americans

Yes, so if it’s now nativists vs. globalists we sure as hell aren’t siding with your globullist Uniparty, Yeb!

It would be all good to me if he discovered fishing, checkers, or anything else that got him out of politics. He can get a TV show about Polynesian cooking for all I care.
