I was told that in the old days Turkish troops manned base gates there alongside our people. Not sure if that’s still the case today.

iChing spent some time at the base in Dyabakir (sp?) in eastern Turkey back in the 80s, and can fill you in, as he was Security at the time. Hope he see this.
