Uh, yeah. I know about 1911s. This Valor was a custom order and bob-tailed for me personally by Dan Wesson. It is resting on a few hundred rounds of reloaded .45 ACP (Automatic Colt Pistol) ammo.

Despite all this, you miss the point of the news reporting "automatic" weapons when clearly the ones used in the crime were not automatic weapons as used in normal daily vernacular.

That is where I usually trained. 7-10 yards - probably 7, mostly. Had a relative almost killed in a robbery.

By a convicted felon who had been out of prison about 3 days.

I see the point as more missing than missed, at least in post 7.
