Correct. I’ve had a residence in the south-west for over 20 years. Fly fishing is great and hunting very fine.Love the country and the people. Many, many doors were opened to me simply because I am an American. I get incensed with the stupid, anti French garbage spewed by people who haven’t the foggiest notion about the French...and that includes Bill O’Reilly.
Why do you say they choose not to get guns? Maybe some families don’t need to buy anything new. Firearms are handed down generation to generation and well cared for by the recipient. Many carry the history of being carried by a mother, sister, aunt, grandfather, or friend in the underground during W.W. II. I still hunt with an A-5 Browning I was given in 1950 when I was 12 years old, as well as other weapons. Am particularly fond of my old W. Model 12 too. So many memories. .....
That's a pity. His father James Dickey was as Southern as it gets.
What Christopher Dickey was saying -- that the killer had to have had some terrorist connections to get guns in France -- might have been better received if he'd expressed it differently, without dragging in Alabama or South Carolina.
And liberal through and through. I despise these Southern natives who made fortunes selling disparaging stereotypes of Southerners/Southern life to gullible Northern city-dwellers.
I have never seen an automatic pistol in a gun store.
When people are armed with powerful trucks like these, unfortunately it makes attacks like these more deadly and tragic. And in the days ahead we will have to consider those realities as well.
Manual trucks can be easily converted to fully automatic.
21 ft. RULE ,,,
Tueller rule,,,???
Yup. I believe in this and as an NRA instructor, I include it in my classes despite the fact that it is not part of the curriculum.
That is the distance I use for
pistol practice, 21ft.
Understood that to be the AVERAGE
engagement distance.
So now I’m going to change that
To minimum SAFE ZONE.
There are a lot of YouTube videos about James Yaeger at Tactical Response. Their mantra is: "Get Off the X!" P, meaning moving while firing.
I do too, since they give a free Squishee with every automatic.
It wasn’t a rock.
It was a Rock.....Lobster!
Down, down, down....
Lol
“Despite all this, you miss the point of the news reporting “automatic” weapons when clearly the ones used in the crime were not automatic weapons as used in normal daily vernacular.”
I see the point as more missing than missed, at least in post 7.
Q: Why does anyone NEED dual fuel tanks?
A: I have dual fuel tanks because I can’t carry a refinery in my truck.
Yeah, when you get 13 MPG around town and maybe 16 on the highway the gas stops aren’t far apart even with two tanks. I would like something more fuel efficient but I only drive about 3000 miles a year in my pickup so I can’t very well buy something newer even if I had the money.
Do you get plenty of horsepower though?
Plenty for me at least. I don’t want to race, I can pull a load if needed, I have a comfortable ride with room enough for my six four, 260 pound body and I don’t have to pay a fortune in property taxes and insurance. The gas mileage doesn’t really matter when I drive so little. A new truck would not only cost a year’s income, it would increase my tax bill a lot more than I would save on fuel.
From the same mosque where he got his grenade?
