Sir Charles is brave to speak out, and right about what he says.
However, he misses the point. The leftists don’t want to abolish “the police.” They want to abolish the local police, highway patrol, and sheriffs, so the US has only a federal police force. So Obama or Hillary can appoint a national police director, somebody we all respect, like Comey, so it will work as well as the FBI, the IRS, and Obamacare!
Imagine how well they can control behavior with federal police in be very town and every highway. “Gun control” will become so easy! And any laws they don’t want to enforce, because people need “room to destroy” for example? Immigration violations? “What laws, peons?”
Charles Barkley and his people aren’t relevant to the betterment of a modern society.
The most optimistic look @ Barkley and folks is that they are a solid anchor of dead weight at best.
But of course just worthless doesn’t cost all that much and would be a bargain.
How much do Barkleys and kin actually cost normal people?
Hundreds of billions year after year after year, the waste and failure and less-than-worthlessness compounding exponentially.
Don’t really care what Barkley and his people do to each other as long as they stay the hell away from me and mine.

Well, you have to understand that lots of folks have a “normalcy bias.” They want to believe that all is right with the world, and even if totalitarians are killing their own populations everywhere else in the world, they won’t do that here.

Maybe the gullible fool members of BLM think the idea is to abolish all law enforcement, but their leaders and the larger leftist organizations are simply going to substitute a national police force.

What the low information BLM doesn’t seem to understand is, once the “blue line” is gone, there will be nothing to prevent the rest of us from SHOOTING BACK.
People are pretty much fed up with the Obama brigade, but their only protection has been the law. You can’t hiccup toward a black person without risking your job, fortune, or life these days. Many are just tired of walking on eggshells.
I’m thinking years of hunting, and target practice have honed the “good ol’ boys” into excellent marksmen. Once the blue wall comes down, it’s going to be hell’s a’poppin’ in BOTH direction.
The perps’ protection of the law will disappear with the cops. The black Priveledge of civil rights protection will no longer be in effect, and yelling “racist” will put you, not at an advantage, but in harms way.
