No, we’d be living in an American version of Iraq or Syria.

Statistics are blunt...if you are white....it’s more likely you will be shot by the cops...over Latinos or Blacks. Now, if you want to talk blacks shooting blacks...that’s different. But these idiots didn’t want to bring up that angle.

"We as black people, weve got to do better"
Start by taking responsibility for your actions. When you rob a store and attack a cop, the fault is yours for getting shot.

And Ive never understood why theres not this moral outrage [at] the way we treat each other as black people.

I can explain it, I think.
Basically, if any white man does anything, it conjures up the slave-master dynamic, but they are prepared to put up with black-black violence, because they don’t see what they can do. Even though, if you could equalize the respective populations, blacks would be responsible for about 98% of all violence.

Way to go Charles. He's a man of courage and truth.
Charles Barkley is the Trump of the black community -- he's willing to see what needs to be said even if he gets flamed because of it.
I salute you sir!

Yup. Unfortunately, Sir Charles probably doesn’t read FR, but, when some nit like Le Batard (boy, that name’s really close to...) makes his silly argument, Barkley should ask, “When was the last time there were nationwide, large scale protests by blacks, the last time a black criminal killed someone — anyone? Even a young child (maybe hit by a stray bullet)?

we are overgoverned and overregulated in many ways. Charles needs to read this book, great book. Explains civil society under the 2nd Amendment:

Every other black who pointed similar things out or worse (some even proposed personal responsibility!), has been taken to the woodshed by the race hustlers in short order.
we’ll see what the fallout is from this.
At any rate, major kudos to Mr. Barkley.

Charles Barkley.Famous athlete that comes across as loudmouth blowhard until he submits to a long form interview. Then suddenly he sounds like the voice of reason.
Hmmm. Wealthy, famous, loudmouth, egotistical blowhard with ideas and a fighter.
Reminds me of........................................

If it were the wild west without police, vigilance committees would provide. It would go hard with many of the murderous punks that the cops shoot now plus a lot of obnoxious folks would learn to mind their manners or mind a rope.
To: Mr. Mojo
Sir Charles gets it...and so did Richard Pryor. In one of his concerts Pryor started talking about having visited a prison for some reason.Referring to them as “brothers”,he mentioned how scary some of the prisoners he encountered seemed to be.He then said something like “thank God we have prisons”...and got a good laugh from the crowd for that remark.

No, wed be living in an American version of Iraq or Syria. The People would be more effective than the police and politicians in weeding out he bad characters....if we got word that cops were no longer doing their job, the thugs would rejoice and start more mayhem - and end up being cut down by right-minded citizens who have been very tired of the crap for a long time.
