Basically, if any white man does anything, it conjures up the slave-master dynamic, but they are prepared to put up with black-black violence, because they don’t see what they can do. Even though, if you could equalize the respective populations, blacks would be responsible for about 98% of all violence.

Sir Charles gets it...and so did Richard Pryor.In one of his concerts Pryor started talking about having visited a prison for some reason.Referring to them as “brothers”,he mentioned how scary some of the prisoners he encountered seemed to be.He then said something like “thank God we have prisons”...and got a good laugh from the crowd for that remark.
