All I can say is that it seemed to me you were attempting to identify why BF’s behavior was what it was. And the fact that you did a search on his lamb symbol to try and identify what his religious convictions might be, seemed kinda bizarre to me, to be honest. And once you determined he was probably a Catholic, you more or less were asking him if his religion condoned such behavior. Just my two cents and the 21st I saw it. Good luck with your resolution. Damon spellchecker! 21st should be “way”
You’re right about one thing, but I’d already admitted it. I DID wonder why I was hit with so many nasty, unprovoked insults. That much is true.
I searched on the symbol because I wasn’t sure. What if it had turned out to be an Episcopal symbol? Can you imagine the meat shredder I’d have been run through, if I had guessed or assumed that symbol represented one religious tradition, and it turned out to represent a different one altogether? I shudder to think.
Perhaps you hadn’t noticed, but after I identified the symbol, I made no further comments. If I was supposedly gunning for a person or a religion, why wouldn’t I have said something? I simply took the entire situation to God in prayer, and left it there.
Sometime later, several days or nearly a week, the discussion was resumed entirely apart from my input. I.e.: I wasn’t the one who wanted to keep thrashing the subject. I did respond to the discussion at that point, but mostly with questions. That’s how you gain insights: by asking questions.
Thank you for your good wishes. Blessings to you also.
