I thought the number of Coup soldiers on the street and number of tanks seemed too few for this to be a fully backed coup otherwise you would have seen thousands of troops and hundreds of tanks swarm capital...a small branch of the military took the chance while he was out of the country in hopes the rest of the military would join them....but they did not...so now Turkey turns down the road of Islamic government.
