I have read from two people, both very well informed, on is hoosiermam, that the reason Trump didn’t sign that religious freedom bill, was because it was so flawed it would failed when tossed up to SCOTUS and in that way, done more harm than good.
Watch the tape of the press-conference with Pence. Look at his comportment, his manner. He turned into a groveling jellyfish. That was no ‘behavior’ of just rectifying a political mistep, or tactical error. That was weakness. That was spinelessness.
That was not someone I could ever admire.
Spoke to legislative staff office and they explained it was the legislature fault. The media knowing if they took down top of ticket others would follow attacked Pence

That may or may not be a valid point, but Pence seemed to be really cowardly on that issue, as was Asa Hutchinson in AR and Nathan Deal in GA.
