I hope people aren’t disappointed in Trump now that he has to appear more like a traditional candidate. It’s a whole new ballgame now.

I’m not disappointed at all. I actually chose Pence to be Trump’s VP pick in the Drudge poll the other day and was surprised when I found that Pence only had 12% support after I voted.

In any event, Pence eliminates a lot of the fears that some people had in voting for Trump because of his lack of legislative experience, working with congress, etc.

Because Christie has a horrible record on second amendment issues, I would have been terribly disappointed had he been chosen, and I hold those same feelings in regard to his possible selection as AG.

I like Newt as some kind of senior adviser/pitbull but Newt has a lot of unnecessary baggage and putting him in a position that people can vote on is not a good idea in my mind.

I also think Sheriff Clarke would be an excellent choice for director of homeland security, although I’d prefer to see that outfit disbanded altogether.
