REAL missionaries never boast about anything. They do praise and magnify the Name of Jesus, and the power of His Blood.

Uh... let him who boasts, boast in the Lord.

So they DO boast about something.

I’m trying, clumsily maybe, too garrulously maybe, but with what I think is an honest hope, to say it ought to be as credible as possible.

Those folks going around saying they’re sorry might, in some blind way, be trying to get where they have an inkling God must be. Christ offers the perfect sympathy for woes that have been incurred or at least permitted on account of the sinner’s own fault! He outdoes what we call “liberals” with a generosity that bespeaks nothing less than God Almighty.

We don’t (if we are white) apologize that we have an advantage, of course. That would be to dance to the tune of the envy and jealousy ginned up by the devil. But we can sympathize with others in their situation of being unable to be in effective contact with the Source of the same advantage. We can pass on the Lord’s special salvational light with a kind, loving, and patient explanation about what it implies, looking for the opportune moment to do so when the Lord draws near.
