Of course. It’s an effective strategy for them. What did this cost our enemies? A truck. Possibly rented or stolen. And one driver. And they took out 80 people, and crippled many more.
And the political “leadership” counsels calm and unity and candlelight vigils.
And teddy bears, don’t forget the damn teddy bears.
For once I want to see a town or a country treat their butchered citizens with respect. These vigils with flowers and bears trivialize the dead. If there’s anything, it should be solemn without the distraction of little candles and the like that trivialize the ugly truth.
Or maybe I’m just sick of drama replacing reflection and resolve. It cheapens the horror somehow.
