I don’t know Pence, as I’m not from anywhere near Indiana.
My only requirement for Trump’s VP pick is that he/she is a quick study, speaks well in public - and fully understands that the state-run mass media in America is going to come at them with every trick, every slander, every joke, every humiliation they can think of.

It would be so Trump for all of this to be a diversion to make the media look stupid. But I guess even Drudge reported it

I used to work at Teterboro airport.
The diner near the airport has to be one of my worst all time lunch experiences.
I can ALMOST forgive having to pay $4.00 for a tuna sandwich (1985 dollars), but that was a miserly, miserable excuse for a sandwich. Offensive!

Interesting stuff.
I had thought that the timing meant it would be Pence.
He has to withdraw from the IN race by Noon Indiana time tomorrow.
The announcement was scheduled for a bit before that deadline. Pence therefore would be announced before he withdrew.
Filing withdrawal papers lets the cat out of the bag. So they planned to announce in New York prior to the deadline.
But, I was turned on to this:
“Pence could withdraw, then ask the state’s GOP central committee to re-nominate him if he doesn’t get the vice presidential nomination.”
So, now that the announcement is postponed, I assume come noon tomorrow in Indiana, Pence will withdraw before the announcement.
That in theory means it is Pence.
But, really, it doesn’t. He can still run for Governor even if he withdraws.
So tomorrow, even if Pence does withdraw before the announcement, that doesn’t mean it is Pence for certain.
(Ok, the above is all true, but I still think Pence is most likely).

I learned long ago that when you eat at highway diners, make sure you eat something they’re cooking in front of you.
