I’ve just been thinking of what comes after Trump.
If he puts the brakes on immigration, there will be time for the Left to assemble all the evidence that doing so has been bad for the economy, is not diverse, etc., etc.
There will also be problems in the Trump administration. The left will take even the tinyist misstep or scandal and blow it up into a full Watergate-style donnybrook.
By the time Trump leaves office, the Democrats and the MSM will have prepared the population for a total reversal. We’ll get Hillary, or Van Jones, or someone even worse.
The backlash will be wicked. They won’t waste any more time. They’ll bring unprecedented numbers of third-world immigrants in and totally overwhelm American voters.
You probably should change your pseudonym from Steely Tom to Hysterical Tom or at least the least Anxious Tom. You cannot predict the political climate four years from now. The media and the left will continue trying to destroy our country regardless of how the now almost certain Trump presidency restricts our borders and immigration.
Hillary and Obama are paralyzed by this type of attack. They simply do not have a clue about how to react to the threat posed by these Islamic savages. And every time it happens it becomes more and more obvious. Trump reacts immediately and competently. The left tries to obfuscate or use it as an excuse for gun control. And it ain't flyin’.
