Sorry, but that war's been going on (with occasional cease-fires and other governmental delusions) for 1400 years.
Only difference is in use of trucks and airplanes and high explosive instead of just hacking away with a sword.
....and if the "rest of the world is going to finally fight back", your estimated time frame better be in terms of months or maybe even weeks and the ROE's better be absolutely nothing but "Go Get Some".
I would suggest you hide your head. This is going to get ugly.
Islam has been at war with everyone else for 1400 years. But the rest of the world has only sporadically fought back.
I believe that will be changing in the not too far away future.
