and he did! I am so glad. Pence was my first choice always. I wish he was running for President.
I disagree. He is dignified. And the Lord knows, Trump needs all the help he can get in the “dignified” category.
Sheeeeesshh ...you sound just like the Nerver-Trumpers I painfully watched on C-Span yesterday during the live RNC Rules Committee meeting. You guys just always got to get your little digs in at Trump. Frankly, it wouldn't bother me if all Never-Trumpers stayed home this election. Too hard to please. Never satisfied. And God knows, anything you can hang around Trump's neck after he's elected, you'll be just too happy to oblige.
Go, Donald Dignified Trump, go!!
I am sorry. You misread my comment. I will not effort explaining myself. It is my opinion..amongst many others. But I am sorry I offended you, CS.
Sorry, I was perhaps projecting on you. The MSM gives us non-stop 24/7 anti-Trump bashing (Fox News not far behind). When I come to Free Republic I feel there is only one target --- Hillary Clinton. Someone wiser than myself said in another thread that there are NO perfect candidates, and Trump is certainly not perfect. Nor is Pence. But, again, the enemy whom we must defeat is Hillary.
Perhaps the best example I could give is my two brothers and I (all of us 15 months apart). We criticized each other continually, but outside our house we were the three muskateers; all for one, one for all!
God bless.
Oh I understand that CS...I have two sisters. We defend each other when we are right...and we defend each other when we are wrong. Thank you kindly, CS. I understand the weariness borne of the constant criticism from the media...24/7
I am a Trump supporter but this choice for VP is AWFUL Pence is Pro Amnesty ...
The idiocy of the Pence Amnesty Ploy... Mike Pence proposed an Amnesty Sell Out that would have required the illegal aliens to just Step out of the U.S. and then immediately Step back into the U.S. Out new VP ... What a fricken disappointment ...
Our attention must now turn to the Pence Ploythe alleged “compromise” miraculously proposed at the last minute by Congressman Mike Pence and widely whooped-up as a way of outflanking immigration patriots in the House.

Two days before the United States Senate passed S.2611, Congressman Mike Pence (R-IN) delivered a speech on immigration policy at the Heritage Foundation. Pence offered what he called a middle ground proposal, a no amnesty immigration reform in which securing our border is the first step. [Renewing the American Dream: The Real Rational Middle Ground on Immigration Reform, May 23, 2006]
The timing of Pence`s speech and his position as chairman of the House Republican Study Committee combined to get his proposal the maximum media attention. So, what is the middle ground Pence wants to occupy?
Pence is / would be a idiotic disappointment ... Pence is a budding Republican Establishment minion... Pence is PRO AMNESTY... Pence is a nobody ... Pence is a flip flopper has been who never was...
