I had a yellow one - never caught on fire but grass grew in the back cargo space on the carpet where the window leaked. I carried hay in the back on occasion & some of the seeds that dropped germinated in that wet, warm environment.

Lol! What a great story! I do remember some rust, but not as much as my mother’s vega!
