Black Lives Matter Attorney: Dismantle And Abolish The Police
Daily Caller ^ | July 11, 2016 | Peter Hasson

California State University, Los Angeles professor Nana Gyamfi, who has worked as an attorney for Black Lives Matter protesters, said in an interview this weekend that she is "not concerned about blue lives" and wants the police to be dismantled and abolished.

[Snip]

"In fact, I want the police to be abolished. I think we should be pushing the police out of our community. I think that we should be defunding the police. I think that we should be demilitarizing the police and finally dismantling the police," she continued.

When asked how America would keep order in a society without police, Gyamfi said: "Well, I suggest we keep order by doing what we did before we had the influx of crack cocaine and other ills that caused us to call the police in. There was a time when black people didn’t call police into the community… We had our own means in the community."

I’ve been calling BLM the “Black Lawlessness Movement” since the start. It’s what they’re all about.

Black Lives Matter Attorney: Dismantle And Abolish The Police

Well I think she is much too late in demanding this as The Police broke up a long time ago, and Sting went on to produce some pretty good solo music, until he started playing a lute that is.

I assume that's what she means because she couldn't be dumb enough to say we should abolish police forces, could she?

Although she was born in San Francisco, she grew up in her parents’ native Ghana. Wonder why she left that nirvana for here?

Hmmm ... Fat? check. Nappy Hair? Check. Rectangular glasses? Check. Bellowing like a water-buffalo into a microphone? Check.

Yeah, you go ahead and dismantle the police. You won't like the result.

If there were no police this blocking of highways by the idiots probably wouldn’t last long.

Okay Prof, let’s start by pulling police out of the Democrat-created welfare ghetto and see what happens.

Although she was born in San Francisco . . .

Well then, I'm sure she's familiar with this song:

Na-na-NA-na.

Na-na-NA-na.

Hey, hey. . .

Good-bye!

Oh, buddy boy, you would not like to see the end of the po po.You say what you say because you think you’re tough and you think YOU would RULE But you ain’t and you wouldn’t. Once the “Justice” bureaucracy was gone the problem of violent criminal types would STILL exist...and it WOULD be DEALT with...by people who have better things to do and a desire to get back to them.

Test cases can be found in Detroit, Chicago, and Baltimore.

Those aren't test cases. In real test cases, the violent areas would be swept clean by fed up gun owner coalitions.

Then policing would be restored.

Big mouth. Microphone. Dreadlocks. Gold chain & earrings.
(Maybe costume jewelry; I don’t know.) - How much do those
dreadlock hairdos cost? - Expensive? Wonder who’s paying the
bills.

[Excerpt from Dianawest.com] In "The State and Revolution", V. I. Lenin elaborates on Marx's plans for a communist world. Lenin saw police as the front line of the enemy -- the enemy, of course, being existing society, which had to be destroyed.

...at a certain stage in the development of democracy, it first welds together the class that wages a revolutionary struggle against capitalism -- the proletariat -- and enables it to crush, smash to smithereens, wipe off the face of the earth the bourgeois, even the republican-bourgeois, state machine -- the standing army, the police and the bureaucracy -- and to substitute for it a more democratic state machine, but a state machine nevertheless, in the shape of the armed masses of workers who develop into a militia in which the entire population takes part. Replaced by a FEDERAL POLICE STATE!

If you go to Africa and spend any time there (outside of tourist enclaves) you will see the "means" the community employs to keep order. It's not pretty, but it works.

Isn't one punishment called 'the necklace' or something similar. ? Keep them supplied with tires.

As attractive as letting them police themselves is, what will follow? Sharia law in areas.

"The left is not above conducting social experiments on millions of unwilling suspects, so why not cordon off a small number of cop-free zones and see what happens."

Just to add to your experiment, it also must be a "Gun Free Zone" as well.

I could see ending the War on Drugs, the War on Poverty, and the War on Guns. We could shut down a lot of law enforcement.
