Those who were in DC went together as a "delegation" not as a party representative nor as a supporter of Obama but as a Texas delegation representing the dead officers and their families.

I understand that today manners and universal acts of honor on behalf of a grieving city, state and country, seem to have been forgotten, especially at a time of partisan politics but it is still the correct protocol, and as I stated, I didn't expect the Obama Administration to offer.

FYI - Air Force One doesn't belong to Obama, it belongs to the American people, loaned to whomever occupies the office of the President at the time, so to fly a state delegation, regardless of party, to a memorial service honoring fallen officers, who died in the act of service to their fellow citizens, IS the correct thing to do.

Can you imagine how hard Obama was laughing when Cruz agreed to fly with him? Obama knows better than most the active, unabashed role he played in getting those officers killed. He also knows that some consider Ted a principled conservative. So Obama sets out to exonerate himself by securing the non-judgemental presence of this noted ‘conservative’—and succeeds.

Guarantee Obama was laughing hysterically (to himself) all the while; that’s what Malignant Narcissists do.
