Well, I can tell you one thing, the .22LR depleted uranium rounds are ALWAYS out at my local Walmart. There’s a national shortage due to hoarders.

Maybe, Maybe not. Either way I do not want to be wearing it if a round from something like my 30.06 hits it. If it doesn’t kill you it will BREAK YOUR RIBS and you will wish you were dead after you pick yourself up off the ground if you are able.

Military body armor has ceramic plates that spread the impact out over the area of the plate. The specs for the body armor say it has to stop a .30-06 AP bullet.
