I think the Never Trumpers are getting their talking points from some of the snarky writers for Conservative Review, Redstate, etc.. They are livid because Trump went around them for the Bernie voters and did not grovel for every one of the Cruz voters. Those voters wanted to be able to pressure Trump and he saw they were bashing him mercilessly every day and night so he went around them. I saw it live on twitter every day. The venom is unbelievable from Amanda Carpenter and the Erick Erickson writers on Red State. I do not believe these people will ever recover from their rabid idiocy.
A few days ago Nopardons and I had exchanges with some guy calling himself cubanleaf. His first post was to announce he was a #nevertrump but that he liked Trump’s response to the Dallas shootings. From there he attempted to argue the notion that a vote against Trump helped Hillary. I do hope he is banned.
