A Donald Trump campaign stop in Indiana scheduled for Tuesday is raising speculation that the presumptive Republican nominee will announce Gov. Mike Pence as his running mate.
The Washington Times reported Sunday evening that Pence has a “95 percent probability” of being Trump's choice, according to sources close to the campaign and to the governor.

Newt would be powerful as Senior ADvisor. Trump is a CEO - he likes to delegate - as Senior Advisor, Newt would be - ipso facto - president. and that would give Pence, or whomever - 8 years to get ready to step in as President.

Pence is a safe pick. He’s 57 and looks young. He rings all the bells for conservatives and GOPee’s. Need to unite the party stuff. Helps stop shenanigans at the convention.
Heard today that Pence is under a pending deadline in the next few days (hours) to file for Governor, so we should know soon by what happens with that filing.
I don’t see Pence and TRUMP sharing the same internal motor, and he’s so low key that I can’t even remember what state he governs. lol. Is it Indiana?

I was excited by the possible General vp pick for Trump too, but then I remembered Ross Perot had a military guy as VP during his campaign, and he did terrible against the Democrat vp in debates. Like, really bad. He was military and not use to being bombarded with political trick questions and it was awful.
