MN permit holder names are not public information. The police don’t owe any information about an ongoing investigation and I’m sure that decision not to tell is coming from the Mayor’s/Governor’s Office.
And why I mentioned days ago that was likely the reason why the unnamed source who revealed he did have a CW permit to the local news remained anonymous, as they were likely in violation for doing so.
I also understand all the reasons for keeping on-going investigation confidential. But that begs the question, why did at least one county Sheriff in MN felt he owed us information when he publicly stated he did not have a CW permit? Double standard? What's up with that?
In addition, you know as well as I, simply reveling if he had a permit or not, is not going to change, alter and obstruct their investigation one way or anther. It wont change a thing. Zip.
