A Source? Geez, where have we hard that one before? Since he is now deceased, what does it matter to him personally if it is proven or disproven from public records? Nothing is going to change his condition. The only reason it is even an issue is the veracity of the girlfriend’s assertion along with the rest of her primary concerns which was certainly not directed at helping him in any way.
The sheriff says his department did not issue a permit so you can believe who you want to believe.
