The NRA’s internal split over Philando Castile [Sheriff has not confirmed the CCW]

After a Minnesota police officer fatally shot a black man on Wednesday, gun control advocates weren’t the only ones criticizing the National Rifle Association. Some of the blowback was coming from within the organization.

The NRA is facing internal division as its members argue that the group did not do enough to defend gun owners’ rights by speaking out on behalf of Philando Castile of Falcon Heights, Minn., who was shot to death during a traffic stop.

Castile had a valid permit to carry a gun. He also reportedly informed the officer who shot him that he was armed in an attempt to head off a misunderstanding.

Agreed.

Tipping point election...although I've thought that before!

I no longer believe that a majority of the current American population want to live together as a civil society under the principles of the Constitution. But those principles are enduring and will be preserved somewhere, sometime.

As great as Reagan was, Trump's job is harder. And while I might have expected a different leader for this fight, Trump's compass points North. He'll be fine.

Well, aren't you just the cutest little warm and fuzzy supercilious gerbil tonight?

You've yet to offer a logical explanation as to why a rational man would put his weapon on top of his ID. Or why I should canonize the driver or the stonergal acquaintance.

Poker may be a better game for you. That's an innuendo. ;) Toodles!!

Name calling! ☺ Don't be angry. Everything is OK plum.

why a rational man would put his weapon on top of his ID.

Maybe he had the new scanner ID. One must scan their gun over their ID, it reads the bar code ID on the gun before the trigger can be activated or pulled.

The way the cop was acting, the fact that he didn’t deny her statement “no, sir, he was reaching for his ID, as you instructed him to do.”

How’s everything going with you and your family?

See ya’,

Sociopathic calmness...okay.

I know a guy who is also preternaturally calm in bad situations, he never panics. Doesn’t mean he’s a sociopath.

I was robbed once, bu a guy with a shotgun, I freaked out so badly that I almost fainted, but another time I had a drunk guy pick up a monkey wrench and hold it above his head, saying he was going to kill me.

I was totally calm, in fact I laughers at him. Doesn’t mean I’m a sociopath either.

I found he visage to be calm, gracious...

Takes all kinds, I guess.

Ed

Take a gander and see if she is not damaged goods.

I stand by my assertion that she is a sociopathic goldbricker.

Oh, and mother of the year...
