What has Trump done?

It’s not Cruz’s job to unify the party. It’s Trump’s.

What do people expect him to do?

What a joke!

It is the GOPe who backing the losing candidates who bear the responsibility to come around to backing the primary victors.

And that goes for Cruz, too.

Having seen Cruz in action, our expectations of him are quite low. We believe that, in the interests of saving the country from Hillary, he should have followed through on his promise (to endorse the GOP nominee) sooner than later. The longer he delays, the more divisive his most desperate supporters become—and the greater the benefits that accrue to Hillary.

Donald Trump did not have a day of campaign withdrawal tantrum to green light party disunity among his supporters. Ted Cruz did. Cruzers need to own that. Every pathetic day of never Trump tantrums since the Indiana primary.

Cruz surrogates are currently defacto campaigning for HIllary Clinton while invoking Cruz’s name. And he is completely silent. Once again. It’s not Trump’s job to police Cruz’s delegates. That Cruz does not speaks volumes. Given his post primary tantrum I can only conclude is neither principled or conservative.
