Don’t forget the Spotted Owl. Lots of small lumber oprations had their forest shut down for habitat protection.

Yep, the Spotted Owl and the Yellow Legged Frog in our area of the Sierra Foothills.

Like Globull warming that had to be renamed Climate Change because there wasn’tenough warming to remain believable.....the protected critters have now all but faded too....having served their purpose of Mass hysteria and the fleecing of the public coffers and private business.

The Pine Beetle now seems to be headed for revenue raising status for those positioned right. Following the last major drought in Ca in the late 70’s I lost 40+ large Ponderosa Pines on a 3 acre parcel but was at least allowed to sell the lumber before it went bad.
Wish I had the trees instead of the money I got.
An unexpected fact was how much noise Pine Beetles make chewing while killing trees ...really quite surprising
