‘The State Department has refuted Comey’s characterization; spokesman John Kirby said the department takes classification “ very, very seriously.” ‘
It’s not really a contradiction to say you take something “very, very seriously” and yet be found to be doing an “extremely careless” job at the same time. Investigating officers find this out all the time. It’s called “talking the talk but not walking the walk.”
I’ll believe Mr. Kirby when we see real punitive action taken against Hillary and the State Department cabal.
What’s that sound???
Oh, yeah. Crickets.
Security regulations are only for little people, it seems.

An entirely new non-security philosophy is born out of this fiasco, as well as a brand new defense for anyone being careless and removing classified matieral from its safe place. The lawyers should be very happy with Comey, Lynch, and Obie's decision. Lots of new work when some zealous agency wants to prosecute "carelessness".
