Looks like this is nothing more than a money maker for these people who are robbery suspects! Reynolds statements are now proven to be totally false.
Castile was not a robbery suspect. He looked like a robbery suspect.
And, which statement has been proven false? Most importantly, Castile has been confirmed to have a CCW permit issued by Hennepin County. But, the article hasn't been updated -- why do you supposed that is?
Yes, they are trying to exploit this. But, it's becoming more and more obvious that Castile wasn't shot because he was black. He was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time, and resembled someone wanted by the police.

This information about the perp has now hit FOX News. You need to slow down and wait on the actual facts.
Just sayin’
Good catch. I saw the initial report that the sheriff where he lived denied that he had a permit. But it turns out he apparently did have a permit from a neighboring county where he had previously lived.
If in fact he did tell the cop he had a CCW, then this ought to have played out very differently. Having a CCW is the closest thing we have to “vetting” of private citizens. Of course, the cop hasn’t seen the permit, he has only the guy’s word for it. But the fact that he states it, and has notified the cop that he is armed rather than simply producing the weapon means something.
