Oh noes. . . not Culture Club.
An aside: I teach college and I guess I’m getting older and the students younger.
The other day I made reference to the fact we threw out King George. . .but the Brits got even by sending us Boy George. . .waited for a chuckle. . . (crickets). . .eventually a student asks; “Who’s Boy George?”
I am very grateful “Boy George” is being forgotten. . . .
My kids are college age, but they and their friends seem pretty well versed on 80s pop music. They didn't know about the B-52s, though.
