A big problem for blacks, in my opinion, is that too high a percentage of them resort to criminal behavior. The majority don’t do this, but way too many do. This leads to cops (both black and white) tending to treat blacks with more suspicion. This, of course, isn’t fair or right to the majority of law-abiding black Americans—but it is quite understandable from the law enforcers’ point of view.
I fear that the reaction to the (possibly/probably) bad shootings, led by our President and BLM types, will lead to more black fellow citizens losing their lives as cops back off on policing their neighborhoods. For some reason, blacks killing innocent blacks is not an issue, but non-blacks (not necessarily white) killing blacks is an unspeakable horror. I do not think this will end well—for anyone.

We need a President who stands up and tells us,
“America was great because it was good. The goodness, the kindness of our people knew no bounds. Everyone all over the world talked about the decent behavior we have here, even for our criminals, and they wanted to be a part of this life where decency rules.
“For far too long, we have lost bit by bit of our decency. We have seen our public figures, our country’s leaders, be shady and corrupt. We’ve stopped insisting on politeness from our youth. We’ve lost a lot of our goodness.
“In my tenure as leader, I want to help us gain the strong, upbeat civilization that we, and the rest of the world, loved. Don’t think about the wrongs done to you and respond to the world in a rough, aggressive, selfish manner. Care enough about this country to treat everyone you come in contact with today with kindness. Even the people you don’t see, like the person who comes to the park after you, who wants to see grass and not your used soda cup or gum wrapper.
“Sure, there are hard times. But it doesn’t make times better to punish your fellow Americans. If you are a cop, stop people and treat them as fairly as you would your grandmother. If you are a teenager, look the salesclerk in the eye, wish him a nice day. If we returned to a civilization that is basically kind and unselfish, the moody, nasty people will stand out and be forced to change.
“This seems like a small ripple in a yuge pond, but if all of us make the effort to be fair and kind in all our dealings, it makes America great again.”
