Since I haven't watched the video, and have only seen the photos, I think I have to switch my opinion to match what are likely facts.

OK. Now, does anyone know if he had a valid driver's license ?

Not sure about the drivers licence. They are reporting on our local TV that he did, in fact, have a valid carry permit. Gets more interesting.
