I agree that Trump needs to respond as a leader and be out in front of the situation and NOT try to lead from behind. He has said many times his support for the police and this was an ASSASSIN SQUAD last night. People were walking quietly and the police supported them. The police were out doing their job while an ASSASSINATION GANG targetted the police by shooting many in the back.
