Back in TV production land, there was a female co-irker who was white and a pretty good person.
Anyway, I worked with her in the same department until she left a couple of years later. She was a supreme expert at calling in sick and having 0 vacation or sick time.
Even when she was there on a typical day and leaving for lunch, we’d make a note of the time and bet sodas on what time she would be back or choose not at all.
I got a lot of drinks by choosing not at all.
