In March 2009 Hillary Clinton announced that the Obama Adminstration was going to push the reset button with the Russians.

Unfortunately, the administration bungled their delivery and spelled out “overcharge” rather than “restart” on their prop.

A Russian guard was filmed this week tackling a US diplomat outside the US Embassy in Moscow.

Well, CIA agents operating in foreign countries are normally given a diplomatic assignment at the embassy as “cover”.

As are KGB/SVR agents here. When I lived in DC in the 1980s, most of the Russians at the Soviet embassy and at the Aeroflot office were KGB with diplomatic status.
