Shoot, you can see Californians doing this stuff on the freeway every morning and they aren’t in self-driving cars....
For me the only reason to have a self driving car would be to be able to sleep on a long trip, so I think I’ll wait.

The title and the video do not go together. There is no crash shown in the video.
I just post them, I don’t write the headlines.
They aren’t “self-driving.” The driver is required to be alert and at the wheel at all times. That is not self-driving.
The ads tell you you can laugh and talk while the car drives itself. The reality is that you can’t. It’s a fraud.
I don’t use “cruise control” because I am in control at all times. I don’t want the stupid machine accelerating or slowing down. I make the decisions in my car, not a dumb machine.
I’m all for driver assist technology. I want to know at all times who’s near me, on which side, and if they are in the lane I want to be in or not. I want better vision in back and when backing out of a parking space at the mall.
I don’t want the danmed thing taking over the controls, and them blaming me when something doesn’t work right.
Even doped out Jim Morrison could figure that one!
