Comey has been grossy inadequate on the whole “intent” issue with Hillary.
Even if he were right that she should not be prosecuted without the “intent” checkbox checked, he gives no evidence that he pursued Hillary’s motives to (1) hide from FOIA legal requirements, (2) hide from State Dept. document archiving legal requirements, and (3) hide all of the Clinton Foundation communications with and within State Dept staff.
There are all kinds of red flags about Hillary’s “intent” in setting up a private server system to hide tens of thousands of documents from legal scrutiny and oversight.
Also, IF there is anything nefarious going on with Clinton Foundation and pay-to-play etc. (which seems so obvious) then obviously Hillary has immense “intent” to hide criminal activities intertwined with classified communications.
Comey and co. have botched this in so many ways, no matter how many times he boasts of the quality of their investigation.
imagine an investigation of the mafia that showed so damned little curiosity and aggressiveness about many key aspects....
He declined to comment on all the above, but what that means is anyone's guess.
There have been numerous reports (even one last weekend dealing with the Espionage Act) that the FBI investigation has numerous angles, but I don't trust anything really. That information could have been planted by Shrillary's team to ramp up expectations that would never materialize.
