I cannot believe some of the dems off topic crying tears over dead people who fought the law and lost. What happened to staying on topic? How the %^$^ did these people get elected?

Can't speak about all of them, but regarding Lacy Clay, they put together a predominately black district in St. Louis, and Clay's dad represented it for decades. When they merged the first and third district a few years ago, it pitted Russ Carnahan, from a long-time Missouri political family against Clay, and the DNC gave Carnahan no support. It is in every sense an affirmative action seat in the H of R. I have a hunch many of the Democratic seats have been gerrymandered for maximum minority representation.
