Just know, MILLIONS were horrified when Romney was nominated in 2012. HORRIFIED. And many did more than just crawl in a hole and dig in they didn't vote for Romney by the millions. Romney not only lost, he has the ego and vulgarity, including being low class on a level never seen before by a previous nominee, that he is openly fighting Trump, while Paul Ryan passively aggressively bashes Trump ever other day. It needs to stop. They are both has-beens.
Fortunately, Trump has much more appeal over Romney by the millions. Those who didn't support Romney just left the discussion which you have indicated you will do. At least those that are not for Trump and possibly Newt, will stop bashing him. We get enough of that on the left. Bashing Trump non-stop is just a indirect way of supporting Corrupt Hillary, whether it is intentional or not. It's one thing to say , I support Trump, but if he picks so and so as a VP, I'll be disappointed, but I trust his judgement and will support his VP pick. It's another thing to say, I support Trump, but if he chooses so and so as VP, I'm out. That doesn't make sense. Just own that lack of support of Trump and move on.
Trump has been bashed since day one and his supporters are tired of it. Fortunately, if Trump chooses Newt, which many of us overwhelmingly support, the Newt bashing will cease.
Even though my original choice in 2012 was Herman Cain (for much the same reasons as my support for Trump), I voted for Romney.
I don't need a lecture from you on how to be a conscientious voter.
Newt would not have won in 2012. You failed to cite what I said endlessly in the past (hey, you’re a n00b, I’ve been here since 1998). Both McQueeg and Willard (and Ryan, but not Palin) were all ringers for Zero. Socialist political establishment flunkies who were there to assure no Conservative either won the nomination or that Zero would be substantively challenged in the general. Gracious and cheerful losers.
