Pence would be a bad choice.
I saw some Indiana folks weighing in with that same opinion.

Pence is a fine gentleman, but may be too mild mannered to withstand the tidal waves of verbal abuse coming his way from libs and #NeverTrumps. Those waves, they will be coming for the rest of the summer and well into late October.
