Comey to testify in Congressional hearings.
Just like the IRS head, and he’s still laughing in our faces..
I’m sure I’ll get blasted for this but who better to question the FBI director than former prosecutor Trey Gowdy.
But I would take it one step further and also invite Ted Cruz to question Comey.
And the first question they should ask is if the Director thinks that Gowdy and Cruz meet the “reasonable prosecutor” threshold? Followed up by his understanding of “gross negligence”, what did he mean when he said others will be held to a different standard, why he chose to layout the facts which clearly indicated she needed to be indicted but then inserted himself into the role of judge, jury, prosecutor, and defense attorney.
Now if these guys are doing their job they will get the FBI’s findings of fact and her testimony under oath and her statements last Saturday to the FBI and make a case for perjury.
Comey is going to look like a fool and probably worse.
You are correct. If they ask Comey hard and pointed questions, Comey's ass will be hanging in the wind.
Is Comey going to be the dog or the pony?
Among other cases he had a hand in...
How Obama's FBI Nominee James Comey Triggered the Plamegate Investigation
Trump won the primary because nobody believes these shows of division and confrontation the uniparty puts on anymore.
Oh goody! Another dog and poney show.
I used to watch C-Span religiously now I can’t bear to watch the sellouts continue to make themselves available to the highest bidder.
The F.B.I. did not immediately confirm that Mr. Comey would comply, but the announcement by Representative Jason Chaffetz of Utah, chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, came after the House speaker, Paul D. Ryan, said that Mrs. Clinton should be barred from receiving classified information an extraordinary recommendation even if it is certain to be ignored by the Obama administration.
In addition, Attorney General Loretta Lynch will appear Tuesday before the House Judiciary Committee, and that committees chairman, Bob Goodlatte of Virginia, made it clear he would focus on Ms. Lynchs impromptu meeting with former President Bill Clinton, ahead of the F.B.I.s announcement.
