For everyone thinking Flynn will be a good pick, watch him in action here;
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SG3j8OYKgn4
He tried to defend the war on radical islam and gets his clock cleaned, over and over by an Al Jazera guy. It is embarrassing. Flynn is not ready for prime time and brings tons of prisoner torture baggage with him.

brings tons of prisoner torture baggage with him.I haven't watched the video yet, but 'prison torture' is a negative?
I don't think so.
Water boarding is too good for most of our enemies, we need to do something stronger. (Donald Trump)

What kind of prisoner torture? I am in favor of prisoner torture when the prisoners are mohammedan terrorists. Ie devout mohammedans trying to turn the world into a Caliphate.
So some mohammedan freak reporter argues with him. So freaking what. I don’t want an orator, I want someone who knows what Islam is and isn’t afraid to say it or fight it.

I watched the 1st segment, 23 minutes. Is what you are referring to in this segment?
If so, I disagree with your interpretation of the dialogue. Flynn was precise in his
answers, and did not evade any questions, and it appeared Mahti was satisfied that
the question was answered.
But I want to be clear about who Trump is putting in, whether for VP or SecDef or
SecState etal. On another thread I had asked FReepers if they knew of any baggage
attached to Flynn, so I encourage us all to drill down on these potential candidates.
But we must be specific in characterizing their flaws.

His mistake was making that interview. If you take what he says and ignore the spinning and insanity of the interviewer, he did quite well, in my opinion.
