How about head of Homeland Security? The current staff doesn’t seem to know the meaning of those words.

Yes, I like the idea of Trumps right hand man being a general! How did that work out for Buchanan?

LOl, that short list gets longer every day. According to whom? You're not relying on the idiot drive-by's for truth, are you? I mean, anyone other than a reporter would realize that there are many positions to be filled, and just because someone's being interviewed doesn't automatically mean it's for the VP slot...

"...I think we will all be in for a pleasant surprise at his choice." You can count on him to make a sterling selection that will shock and awe the pinheads and have Team Trump doing cartwheels.
It's just how he rolls...

I think that he might be best serving as National Security Advisor...though having someone with his background as the Veep would send a message to the world that we are NOT going to take any crap from anyone. He’d also be good at advising Trump which generals to keep, and which to get rid of (and colonels, too - they are the follow-on echelon, the future generals, so let’s weed out the power-hungry proto-fascists that the next Dem President would need to de-ball the military).

Cool. A military defector from the enemy. We need more of them.

At best, we present a schizophrenic message to the world...that we will vigorously pursue foreign policy to protect ourselves, and then elect someone to undo it all and leave our allies holding the bag alone, amongst the homicidal nuts.

Thank you for the correction. Later he wouldn't travel out of the country because of restrictions on the colonel.

I think that Trump will come closer to the view that we need to jointly act with our allies to F up our enemies as far away from our shores as possible. He’ll never be interventionist, but I don’t see that as necessarily bad. Sometimes it is the smart thing to do, sometimes it has severe repercussions for decades or longer. Trump isn’t stupid, and he WILL be getting advice from every point of view (that’s the only sensible thing to do, and he regularly does it in his business).

He’s wearing a Ranger tab and a Master Parachutist Badge. Both pretty well combat related. And whatever else he’s wearing. I really don’t care one way or another, because they are all crooked. As I said, I was just saying.

Trump has a reputation of hiring smart people!
Lieutenant General Flynn as VP would be a smart move, IMHO.

Except I just now found out that General Flynn is pro-choice.
Someone needs to get to him on that issue! Perhaps he can be convinced of the error of his ways — that pro-choice is the lifeblood of the LIEberal establishment.
