What first term Senator with no previous federal experience has been a successful chief executive? Heck, even JFK spent at least some time in the House of Representatives before going to the upper chamber.
the VP position is almost entirely an honorific one. there is no need to have chief executive experience. of course, she does have such experience running a supply organization in the military.
i’m not saying she should be the VP. i’m just saying that there’s nothing significant to exclude her from it. she’d pretty just be there to cast a deciding vote when there is a 50/50 tie. how often has that even happened?
now, if your concern is whether she could step into the POTUS spot if needed, then i think what matters more are her positions. she ticks off most of the conservative boxes as far as i can tell. that puts her well above McCain, Romney, GHWBush, and even Trump.
