Agreed. However, from a strategic management perspective, Newt would be most effective as Trump's Chief of Staff whose office is right next to the Oval Office. Newt will be Trump's "go to guy" mentoring and advising him on the legislative twists and turns in Washington.

Experience counts, and as a historian Newt is a gold mine of past wins and failures.

Trump knows he doesn't know what he doesn't know.

I second that.

IMO opinion Newt would be a big mistake for VP. His old loose cannon habit will keep popping up, the same one that alienated the conservatives who made him Speaker.
