Maybe, just maybe there was some influence from something or someone “Out there” As it s hard to imagine that it was all “Home grown”

It is easier for me to imagine that we know a tiny fraction of what the ancients know than the outer space visitors came down, built stuff, and disappeared, never to come back.

I read four of the Erich von Daniken books, and he is crazy. (My excuse was that I was in fourth grade, and guillible at the time). I met his nephew, and told him his uncle was crazy, and he said, "Yes, but he's rich." I didn't argue with that.

“ancients know” should be “ancients knew”.

Probably an easier explanation is that man is capable of advancing quite rapidly, if he’s not in a period of deprivation and has a libertarian level of freedom to fulfil needs in society.

Some times if you are able to take some time out from your busy life style you may want to read some of the Earth Chronicle’s by Zecharia Sitchin. I don’t quite agree with everything but a good portion of it.
