Trump did do that. As I occasionally tried to remind people, don’t throw mud that will make it impossible for people to unite at the end of the process. The man needed a filter.
For me, I ignore the Noise Machine and paid no attention to the mud thrown at Cruz and for that matter paid no attention to the mud thrown at Trump. I had a mental list of things that have to happen to save this country, and the only two men who could be trusted to actually do those things and fight for them were Trump and Cruz. So while I prefer Cruz, I am quite happy with Trump. I get happier every time he steps up to the microphone, he seems to get tougher and more focused all the time.
I was glad that Trump held out the olive branch to Cruz at the end of it, and I’m hoping they’ll patch it up. If they don’t, I can already see that Cruz will continue right on picking fights with our common enemies. As will Trump. It would have been nice if they could have been on the same ticket but I don’t see it happening. That’s fine; Cruz can do a lot of fighting in the senate right where he is at.
So let’s assume for the moment that you are right (and I’m not disagreeing with you, although plenty of people here so far, are disagreeing with you, and I’m waiting to see how it plays out before I decide).
Mike Lee, a grown man and sitting US Sentor, is essentially withholding support for his party’s nominee because he’s mad that Trump called Cruz’ dad a bad name?

Cruz hurled more than his share, but having lost badly, he is behaving like an angry child. I see it is hurting him badly in Texas.
Oh get over it....Teddy doesn’t “fight” for anything, except for himself and what the other GOPEers and Goldman Sachs tells him to.
